Christopher Staszko

Christopher P. Staszko, 65, of Moorhead, MN, passed away on August 9, 2020.
Chris was the son of Lois and Edward Staszko. He was born, raised, and educated in Fargo, ND.
In 1978 he married Joan Zitzow. Together they had two children, Paul and Katherine. In 1995, Chris married Mary Gramlich. Together Chris and Mary have had four cats, Cleo, Winnie Sox, and Sheldon.
Chris was employed in sales all of his life. The past 20 years, Chris was a financial advisor. He retired in April of 2020.
Tennis, golf and daily two-mile walks were his retirement dream. You could find him enjoying the history channel, Sci-Fi and Hogan's Heros as well. Chris was an astronomy buff. He often dragged Mary outside to see the stars and planets. Chris loved jazz... then there was cooking… and of course eating.
Over the years Chris struggled with drug addiction, alcoholism and cancer. What a comfort to know as Chris entered the pearly gates, his sins were forgiven and he was sober.
Chris was not one to demonstrate affection. Let it be known he very much loved his wife and children.
His parents, Lois and Edward Staszko, and sister, Sid Kuropchak, preceded him in death. Chris is survived by his wife, Mary; children, Paul and Katherine; sister, Joan (Dick) Greving; brother, Greg (Gail) Staszko; and his cat, Sheldon.
