Adeline Eide, age 90, Eventide Catered Living, Moorhead, MN, died Saturday, November 20, 2010, in Sanford Hospital, Fargo, ND.
Adeline H. Jacobson was born March 1, 1920, in Ulen, MN, to Soren and Anna (Larson) Jacobson. She married Norman Eide on December 27, 1941, and together they moved to Moorhead in 1947 following WWII. Adeline and Norman moved to Omaha, NE, in 2003, where they lived at the time of Norman's death in February 2005. She remained in Omaha until July 2009, when she moved to Eventide in Moorhead.
In addition to her husband Norman, Adeline was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Archie, Henry, Maynard, Johan, Joseph, William and Sander; sisters Lila, Myrtle, and her twin sister Alice.
Adeline is survived by her three children, David (Cathy) Eide, Nisswa, MN, Laurie Eide (John Feneck), Omaha, NE, and Kevin (Kari) Eide, Osage, MN; three grandchildren, Lisa (Matt) Guthmiller and Jacqueline Eide of Omaha, NE, and Jeffery Eide, Jakarta, Indonesia; five step-grandchildren, Matthew Ketterling, Denver, CO, Benjamin Ketterling, Fort Meyers, FL, Ashley, Atalie and Alaric Roerick, all of Fargo, ND; two great-grandsons, Matthew Jon and William Norman Guthmiller, Omaha, NE; sister, Gladys (Vernon) Kirkeby, Moorhead; brother, Morris (Donna) Jacobson, Moorhead; and numerous beloved nieces and nephews.
Adeline was a beautiful, kind and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. The family extends its heartfelt thanks to all of you who enriched her life.
Visitation: Friday, one hour prior to the funeral, at the church. Funeral: Friday, November 26, 2010, at 10:30 AM, Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, 4000 28th Ave. S., Moorhead. Burial: Salem Lutheran (East) Cemetery, Hitterdal, MN. Arrangements by
