Adeline M. Larson, 87, Moorhead, MN, died Monday, July 4, 2011, at her home in Moorhead.
Adeline Marie Oscarson was born October 14, 1923, in Glyndon, MN, to Jacob and Ida (Wemstrom) Oscarson. She was raised in Moorhead and graduated from Moorhead High School in 1942. After graduation she worked for the Fairmont Creamery.
On June 27, 1943, Adeline married Lloyd L. Larson in Fargo, ND. They made their home in Moorhead. After Adeline's children were grown, she worked at FRS and Richtman's Printing.
Lloyd died in July of 1998, Adeline continued to make her home in Moorhead. She moved to Carriage House in Moorhead in 2004.
Adeline loves to crochet, making afghans for all of her grandchildren. Adeline's faith was an important part of her life. She was an active member of First Assembly of God, Fargo, ND, where she taught Sunday school for 50 years and was a member of the Prime Timers. She was involved in Gideon's International.
Adeline is survived by five children, Darrel (Wanda) Larson, Sun City, AZ, Dennis (Doris) Larson, Surprise, AZ, David (Julie) Larson, Moorhead, Darlene (Alvin) Bosma, Grand Forks, ND, and Dale (Sheri) Larson, Moorhead; three sisters, Roselle Oscarson, and Ione Smith, Moorhead, and Jean Ohren, Bellview, FL; a sister-in-law, Nellie Larson, Fargo; 11 grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-granddaughter; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Clarence; and sister, Edith Johnson.
Funeral is Saturday July 9, 2011 at 1 pm at First Assembly of God, Fargo, ND with visitation one hour before the service.
Burial: Riverside Cemetery, Moorhead.
