Alice J. Willem, age 78, died Saturday, Feb. 12, 2011, in Golden Living Center, Moorhead, MN.
Alice Jane Henderson was born in Fargo, ND, March 12, 1932, to Martin and Ruth Henderson. She grew up and received her education in Fargo, graduating from Fargo Central High in 1950, and attending NDSU.
On November 24, 1957, Alice married Ernest Willem. They made their home on the family farm near Comstock, MN, where they farmed for many years. In 2008, Alice became a resident of Golden Living Center, Moorhead.
Alice is survived by her husband, Ernest, rural Comstock; son, Richard (Judy) Willem, rural Comstock; daughter, Kathy (Louis) Marx, Brooklyn Park, MN; sisters, Marilyn (Bill) Parker and Beverly (Curtis) Jacobson; brother, Allen (Joyce) Henderson; three stepgrandchildren; and five stepgreat-grandchildren. Alice was preceded in death by her parents; and by two brothers, David and Clinton.
