Alice Stene

Alice Evelyn Egerdahl was born November 11, 1931, near LaMoure, ND, to Haakon and Nina (Lind) Egerdahl. The family moved to Duluth, MN, where she received her education.

Alice married Lloyd Stene on October 26, 1951, at Duluth, and they lived and farmed near Hendrum, MN, for many years. They moved to Moorhead, MN, in 2006, and to Dilworth, MN, in 2008. Lloyd died November 29, 2010, and Alice continued to make her home in Dilworth.

Alice had a strong faith in Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. She went home to be with her Lord on Friday, September 19, 2014, at Golden Living Center, Moorhead, at eighty-two years of age.

Alice is survived by her son, Jerry (Janine) Stene, Fargo; daughters, Jane (Kevin) Johnson, Brainerd, MN, Joyce (John) Howard, Fargo, and June Radke (Bryan Kramer), Dilworth; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three sisters, Magda Job, Edgeley, ND, Dorothy (Alvin) Nelson, Lakeland, FL, and Verna Preusse, Elm Grove, WI; and a brother, Donald Egerdahl, Florida.

Visitation for Alice will begin at 1 PM, with a funeral at 2 PM, Wednesday, September 24, 2014, at Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead.

Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Moorhead.
