Aline P. Anderson

Aline Priscilla Anderson, 76, Fargo, ND, formerly of Moorhead, MN, passed away Friday, December 31, 2004 at MeritCare Hospital, Fargo, surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with cancer.
Aline was born April 26, 1928 to Christ and Gusta (Sandvig) Olson in Enderlin, ND, where she grew up and graduated from high school. She then attended Moorhead (MN) State College and received her teaching certificate. She then taught in a country school.
On September 14, 1952, she married Garfield Anderson at Moorhead. After raising their four children to school age, she went to work for Moorhead Technical School where she worked in the Financial Aid Office. She retired in 1981, the same year that Gar retired as the Moorhead Fire Chief. They were able to enjoy winters in California and summers in Moorhead until Gar's death in 1988. He was the love of her life and she never stopped missing him.
After Gar's death Aline went to work at Meritcare hospital in the housekeeping department. She then worked for Dow services at Microsoft until she became ill.
She was devoted to and very proud of her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She had a unique sense of humor that she shared with family and friends. She was also a charter member Lutheran Church of Christ the King, Moorhead.
She is survived by her four children, son, Tom (Lori) Anderson, Moorhead; daughters, Kristi (Brien) Nelson, Kindred, ND, Jody (Craig) Geron, West Fargo, ND, and Sonia Anderson (Mitch Thomas), Enderlin, ND; grandchildren Emily (Larry) Cuypers and their son

Visitation for Aline will be Tuesday, January 4, 2005, from 5 - 7 PM, with a prayer service at 7 PM, in Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead. Her funeral will be Wednesday, January 5, 2005, at 10:30 AM, in Lutheran Church of Christ the King, Moorhead. Burial
