Allen Michael Milbradt entered Heaven on Saturday, February 11, 2023, in Earp, CA.
Allen was born July 7, 1956 in Wesley Hospital in Wadena, MN, to Harold and Evelyn (Tappe) Milbradt.
When Al was young, he and his brother Keith worked summers on a family farm in North Dakota. During his high school years, Al worked at Marv’s gas station in Sebeka, MN and raced cars in the evenings with his friends. Al furthered his education at Northwest Technical College in Wadena, MN. During college, Al worked for Caterpillar. He later accepted a job with MnDOT, where Al worked until his retirement. Al worked for MnDOT for 39 years. He held different titles throughout his working career, but always was a hard worker and ready to give his colleagues and friends a helping hand.
On April 11, 1992, Al was united in marriage to Jennifer Murphy in Grace Lutheran Church, Sebeka, MN. In love, and devoted to one another, Al and Jennifer were blessed with triplets, Thomas Allen, Desire Morgan and Dusti Rose. As a family, their lives and home were filled with love and laughter. They settled and built their forever home in Dilworth. An active father, Al enjoyed watching his children in their activities of volleyball, basketball and school concerts. He loved taking the family on camping trips, going out to eat at their favorite restaurants and visiting family and friends in the Menahga, Sebeka area.
Al was dearly loved by his family, especially his wife Jennifer who often referred to him as her “Allaliscous”. They will remember his smiling eyes, beautiful smile and his “silver fox” hair.
He will be remembered and deeply missed by his wife, Jennifer Milbradt of Dilworth; son, Thomas Allen Milbradt of Sabin; daughters, Desire Morgan Milbradt of Fargo, ND and Dusti Rose (Conner) Ewing of Moorhead. Al is also survived by his siblings, Keith (Diane) Milbradt of Wadena, MN; Vicky Bruininga of Wadena, Kevin Milbradt of Nimrod, MN; Curt Milbradt of Hazen, ND, Terry Milbradt of Sebeka and DeVonne (Gus) Schoon of Sebeka; along with many wonderful nieces and nephews.
Al was preceded in death by his parents; and brother-in-law, Ralf Bruininga.
The Milbradt family extends their deepest appreciation to everyone that has supported us during this time. Your kind words of comfort and being present will always be remembered.
The Visitation for Al will be from 9:30 AM to 11 AM on May 20, 2023 at United Methodist Church in Sebeka, MN. The Memorial Service will be held at 11 AM at the church with a reception and luncheon to follow.
