Alma T. Molldrem was born July 3, 1915, and went to her Heavenly Father on September 12, 2011, at the age of 96.
Alma attended Moorhead Public Schools and went to work at Bell Telephone as a switchboard operator. She met Oscar Molldrem in Moorhead, and they were married on July 26, 1940. Alma worked for Eventide Lutheran Home for seventeen years, retiring in 1977.
Oscar passed away May 29, 1990, and Alma continued to make her home in Moorhead.
Alma enjoyed spending time with her family at Cotton Lake. She was an excellent cook and baker. Alma was also well known for her meatballs, to which there was no recipe.
She is survived by three sons, Bradley (Judy) Molldrem, Michael (Ginger) Molldrem, and Gary (Rita) Molldrem; a daughter, Susan (Wayne) Schreiner; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Orville (Ellie) Holsen and Martin (Margaret) Holsen. In addition to her husband, Alma was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Inga; and two brothers, Christian and Ingolf.
