Alvina C. Nelson

Alvina Corella Anderson was born September 25, 1937, in Galesburg, ND, to Herman and Lena (Rostad) Anderson.

Our Sweet Alvina was given her wings on the early morning of April 3, 2023, to join our family angels.  They include her parents, Herman and Lena; siblings, Lillian Hansen, Gerhardt Anderson, Howard Anderson, Esther Gregory, (twins) Myron George and Mae Clara, and Donna Jenkins;  brothers-in-law, Norman Hansen, LeRoy Gregor, LeRoy LaCroix, and Clarence Jenkins; nieces and nephews, Shelly Barness, Mary Ellen Hansen, Howie Anderson, Pat Anderson, Gary Anderson, and Keith Hatts.

She is survived by her daughter, Carol Flieth; grandsons, Kenny Flieth Claus and Michael Flieth;  sister, Pearl (Jesse) Ochoa; brother, Roy (Ursla) Anderson; sister-in-law, Sharon Anderson; and many nieces and nephews.

A special thank-you to Alvina’s numerous caregivers over the years, including St. Catherine North, Fargo, Hospice of the Red River Valley, Evergreens of Fargo, and Good Samaritan Center of Arthur, ND.

A private family service for Alvina will be held.
