Amanda Harriet Flohrs, 85, Moorhead, MN, died Monday, April 16, 2007, in the Golden Living Center, Moorhead.
Amanda Muchow was born August 31, 1921, in Fergus Falls, MN. She was the daughter of Louis C. and Caroline (Johnson) Muchow. Amanda was married to Theodore C. Flohrs, on April 6, 1940, in Moorhead, where they made their home. Theodore died on February 5, 1980, and Amanda continued to reside in Moorhead.
Amanda will be warmly remembered for being a great wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, as well as her sense of humor, love of music, flowers and trivia.
Amanda is survived by her five children, Charlene (Thomas) Farr, Edina, MN, John (Susan) Flohrs, Savage, MN, Carol (William) Meyer, Fargo, ND, Richard (Donna) Flohrs, Fargo, and Michael (Deborah) Flohrs, Fargo; twelve grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; sisters, Lydia Kline, Moorhead, and Loretta Wallace, Seattle, WA; and sisters-in-law, LaVonne Muchow, Moorhead, and Marie (Raymond) McKee, McKinney, TX.
In addition to her husband, Amanda was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Marion; brothers, Herbert and Willard; and a granddaughter, Jacqueline.
Visitation for Amanda will be Wednesday, April 18, 2007, from 5 - 7 PM, in Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead.
Her funeral will be Thursday, April 19, 2007, at 11 AM, in Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Moorhead.
Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Moorhead.
