Ambrose C. Motschenbacher, age 79, of Moorhead, MN died Friday, April 13, 2007 at Manor Care in Fargo, ND.
Ambrose was born September 1, 1927 in Sabin, MN to Alvin and Margaret (Lalley) Motschenbacher. He attended and graduated from Glyndon High School in 1945. During WWII, he served his country and was honorably discharged from the U. S. Air Force.
On June 17, 1950, Ambrose was married to Helen Zebley at St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church in Moorhead. He was employed at several area businesses including Silverline, Fargo Foundry, and NDSU for 10 years. They became the parents of 4 children.
Besides caring and teaching their children, Ambrose enjoyed camping, fishing, gardening and being at the lake. He has been ill for the last several months.
He is survived by his wife, Helen; 2 sons and a daughter, Stephen (Peggy) Motschenbacher of Fargo, Ted "Birdie" (Trina) Motschenbacher of West Fargo, ND, and Charlene Motschenbacher of Verndale; 6 grandchildren, and 3 great grand children; a brother and

VISITATION: Monday, April 16, 2007 from 5 - 7 pm in Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead with prayers at 7 pm.
FUNERAL MASS: Tuesday, April 17, 2007 ~ 3 pm in Church of the Nativity, 1825 11th St. S., Fargo, ND.
INTERMENT with Military Honors: St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery, Moorhead, MN.
