Luther Andrew "Andy" Hill, 44, of Moorhead, MN, died Sunday, April 7, 2013, at Sanford Health in Fargo, ND.
Luther Andrew Hill was born September 9, 1968, in Shreveport, LA, the son of Thomas J. and Betty (Stockdale) Hill. Andy grew up in an Air Force family living in Crete and California before settling in Minot, ND, where he graduated from high school in 1986. He then attended North Dakota State University in Fargo, graduating in 1991 with a degree in Political Science.
On March 2, 1992, he was united in marriage to Ellen Fagerstrom in Fargo. He then attended Moorhead Technical Institute where he received an associate degree in auto mechanics. They then moved to Indiana where he worked as a mechanic. They later returned to Moorhead where he attended Minnesota State University Moorhead receiving his secondary education degree in Social Studies. He then taught for two years in Guam and four years in South Korea before returning to Moorhead in September of 2012. He was currently working on his master's degree.
He enjoyed building model airplanes and had a great love for history.
Andy is survived by his wife, Ellen; parents, Thom and Betty Hill of Minot, ND; and sister, Lynn Delaney of Minot.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents; and brother, Joe Hill.
Visitation: Will be one hour prior to the service.
Memorial Service: Saturday, April 13, 2013, at 2:00 PM, in Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead.
