Ann Olson

Ann Marie Olson was born August 1, 1962, in Fargo, ND, to Gordon and Delsie (Berg) Olson. She was raised in the Fargo-Moorhead, MN, area where she attended school.

Ann worked for a long time at the Super 8 in Moorhead. Recently, she worked in the donation center at the Salvation Army.

Ann died on Sunday, January 22, 2012, in her home in Moorhead, under the care of Hospice of the Red River Valley. She was forty-nine years old.

Ann loved spending time with her son, Randy. She enjoyed playing card games, Yahtzee, Bingo, and Nintendo. She also liked to watch movies.

Ann is survived by her son, Randy, Moorhead; sisters, Diane (Robert) Higdem, Moorhead, Lorrie Earles, Moorhead, and Gloria (Allan) Whitney, Tacoma, WA; her partner, Garon "Sonny" Hanson, Moorhead; nieces and nephews, Christina (Theo) Eklund, Bobby Higdem, Katie (Robert) Kurpius, Amanda Pearson, Tammy (Eric) Bender, Chrissy Hiltwein, Del Hiltwein, and Maxine Whitney; and many friends including her special friend, Kari Radtke.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Cynthia Hiltwein; and a nephew, Curtis Pearson.
