Anna Edith Moll, 97, Moorhead, MN, died Friday, September 25, 2009, in Golden Living Center, Moorhead, where she had been a resident since 2002.
Anna Edith Severson, the daughter of Sevie and Anna (Olson) Severson, was born in Westbrook, MN, on November 28, 1911. She grew up and received her education in the Lamberton, MN, where she graduated from high school and normal school.
Edith was united in marriage to Merton Moll on November 6, 1930, in Moorhead, MN, where they made their home. Edith taught school in rural schools near Moorhead, including Oak Mound School, and in Mapleton, ND. She received her bachlor's degree from what is now MSUM, Moorhead and her master's degree from NDSU, Fargo. In 1958, Edith became a special education teacher in the Moorhead Public School district. She retired in 1969. In retirement, she and Merton enjoyed traveling.
Her husband, Merton, died in 1979. Edith continued to live in Moorhead.
In addition to Merton, she was preceded in death by her parents; a granddaughter, Barbara Blair; sisters, Avis Coulter and Stella Severson; and brothers, Cliff, Stanley, Howard, Ralph and Vernon Severson.
Edith is survived by a son, Ronald (Adele) Moll, Bismarck, ND; daughters, Jean (Bob) Glass, Alert Bay, British Columbia, Canada, and Doris Blair, Abilene, TX; a sister, Lillian Schultz, Lamberton, MN; 7 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation: One hour prior to the funeral.
Funeral: Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2009, at 2 PM

Burial: Riverside Cemetery, Moorhead.
