Anna was born to William and Bertha Fercho in Napoleon, ND, on August 16, 1928. The family moved to Mandan, ND, in 1934.
Anna married William Mercer, and moved to Iowa, where they had two children. She later married Ben Schlecht and they had seven children.
Anna loved God, her children, and her church family. She was the mother to nine children, Linda Dick, Donna Voracek, Debbie (Rick) Nelson, Ricky Schlecht, Curtis Schlecht, Twilla (Kent) Morgan, James Schlecht, and Michael Schlecht; grandmother to 18; and great-grandmother of 23.
Visitation: Tuesday, 5 PM to 7 PM, Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead, MN.
Memorial Service: Wednesday, May 9, 2012, at 2 PM in River Valley Church, Dilworth, MN.
Burial: Wednesday, 10 AM in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Fargo, ND.
