Annis Dorothea Skurdahl, 95, died May 4, 2010 in Rosewood on Broadway, Fargo, ND.
Annis was born to Otto and Helga (Thompson) Skurdahl on a farm near Aneta, ND. She attended grade school in Loretta Country School and high school in Northwood, ND, and Sharon, ND. Annis then attended Lutheran Bible Institute in Golden Valley, MN, and taught at some parochial and Bible schools and Good News Clubs.
Annis was a member of St. Paul's Free Lutheran Church, Fargo. She loved Bible studies and Bible camps.
Annis was preceded in death by her brothers, Idean and Oliver (Geraldine); a sister, Elsie Frick; a sister-in-law, Marna Skurdahl; and her parents.
She was the oldest of ten family members and is survived by siblings, Helen Tveiten Larson, Eunice (Norman) Jones, Ernest, Esther (Arthur Perkins), Janet (Donald) Paul and Elmer (Charlotte); and a brother-in-law, Jerry Frick.
Annis' life was that of care giving to her parents and five prominent Fargo persons. We remember fondly her loving sacrifice of her life in caring for family and others.
Memorials preferred to St. Paul's Free Lutheran Church or Rosewood on Broadway.
The Funeral Service for Annis will be held on Saturday, May 8, 2010 at 11 AM in St. Paul's Free Lutheran Church with Visitation one hour prior to the service.
Burial will be in West Union Cemetery, Northwood.
