Antonio "Tony" Arechigo

Antonio "Tony" Arechigo, 64, of Moorhead, MN, died Monday, April 3, 2017, in Eventide on Eighth, Moorhead.

Antonio Richard Arechigo was born June 29, 1952, the son of Joseph and Eloise (Corona) Arechigo, in Moorhead. He was raised in Moorhead where he attended school. After high school, Tony moved to New Mexico and Arizona where he worked for a few years.
Tony then returned to Moorhead where he worked for Silverline, American Crystal Sugar, Burlington Northern Transport, and then as a delivery driver, before retiring. In February of 2015, he moved to Eventide on Eighth.

Tony enjoyed playing bingo and cooking for the family 4th of July reunion.

He is survived by his daughter, Tina Tuma, Fargo, ND; grandchildren, Jessica Sutton, Alyssa Sutton, Cory Sutton, Nickolas Tuma and Noah Tuma; great-granddaughter, Sofia Kaikai; brothers, Rudy Arechigo, Fargo, Arband Arechigo and Jimmy Arechigo, both Moorhead, and Pat Arechigo, Sioux Falls, SD; sisters, Judy (Solis) Solis and Gloria (Russ) Cossette, both Moorhead, and Rosie Arechigo, Fargo; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son-in-law, Robert Tuma; brothers, Felix, Raymond, Tommy, Bennie, Manuel and Joe; sister, Margaret; and nieces, Shawna Arechigo and Jean Arechigo Rhodes.

A Gathering of Friends will be Saturday, April 8, 2017, from 10 AM to Noon in Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead.
