Arlene A. Ingberg, died November 9, 2004, in Bethany Homes, Fargo, at the age of 72.
Arlene Alice Peterson, daughter of Henry and Sofie (Benson) Peterson, was born August 27, 1932, in rural Hendrum, MN, where she grew up and received her early education. Arlene graduated from Hendrum High School in 1950.
Arlene was united in marriage to Allan C. Ingberg on October 1, 1950, at Concordia Lutheran Church, Hendrum. The couple made their home in rural Hendrum where they farmed.
Arlene was an active member of Landstad Lutheran Church, Perley, MN. She loved gardening, canning, mowing the lawn, walking and shopping. She was a great cook and baker and seamstress. Arlene entered Bethany Homes in 1997.
Arlene is survived her husband, Allan, Perley; one daughter, Cheryl Ingberg, Fargo; one son Mark Ingberg, Perley; one granddaughter, Ashlynn Ingberg; four brothers, Edgar (Leona) Peterson, Hibbing, MN, Gerald (Marie) Peterson, Colorado Springs, CO, Robert (Sandra) Peterson, Lodi, CA, Lyle (Alice) Peterson, Hendrum, and Larry (Marilyn) Peterson, Hardin, MT. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and two sisters.
