Audrey Omoth

Our Beloved Mother, Audrey Noreen Wiig Omoth, 93, a resident of Sheyenne Crossings, West Fargo, ND, passed away Saturday, February 7, 2015, in Sanford Health, Fargo, ND.
Audrey was born to Arthur and Nora (Krogstad) Wiig on October 13, 1921, in Perley, MN. She went to high school and graduated in Page, ND, where she enjoyed being a drum majorette. She enjoyed making crafts and playing bingo at Sheyenne Crossings. We called her the "Bingo Queen."
She married Raymond Omoth in Moorhead, MN, January 27, 1945, and they enjoyed 51 wonderful years of marriage before Raymond passed away in 1996.
Audrey was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Omoth; son, Richard Omoth; and her parents.
Audrey is survived by three daughters, Sheila (Steven) Christensen, Fargo, Rae Lynn (Edward) Willms, Moorhead, and Kimberly (Matthew) Ackerman, Moorhead; eight grandchildren, Jason (Annette) Willms, Montgomery, TX, Teresa (Shawn) Paulson, Hawley, MN, Rebecca (Michael) Sanders, Osage, MN, Amber Bird, Park Rapids, MN, Logan Ackerman, Shelly, MN, Hailen Ackerman, Moorhead, Stephanie (Josh) Orr, Fargo, and Mischelle (Steven) Lentz, Excelsior, MN; 18 great-grandchildren, Megan, Alexus, and Zoe Willms, Montgomery, Dallas, Austen, Brandon, and Shawna Paulson, Hawley, Alexander, Hunter, and Madysen Sanders, Osage, Nicholas, Matthew, Thomas, and Emily Lentz, Excelsior, Brock Robinson, Breckenridge, MN, Amanda (Harry) Applegate, Lebanon, OH, George (Jesse) Holt, Eaton, OH, and John (David) Holt-Nichols, Montgomery; and 6 great-great-grandchildren, Lily, Adalie, Elijah, and Maggie Applegate, and Brenna and Emmaline Holt.
We want to thank the staff at Sheyenne Crossings for being so kind to our mom; she really loved living there. Also, the doctors and staff at Sanford Health who helped her take her final journey in peace.
A funeral service will be held Thursday, February 12, 2015, at 11:00 AM in Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead, with the Pastor Stephen Streed, Eventide, officiating.
