Audrey P. Kittelson was born December 17, 1945, in Detroit Lake, MN, to Theodore and Stella (Hillestad) Kittelson. She was raised in Lake Park, MN, where she graduated from high school in 1963.
Audrey was united in marriage to Roger Thompson on April 2, 1966, in Lake Park, where they made their home. Audrey worked for State Bank in Lake Park and then American Crystal Sugar, Moorhead. She retired in 2010.
Audrey died Saturday, August 25, 2012, at Golden Living Center, Moorhead, MN, at sixty-six years of age.
Audrey is survived by her husband, Roger, Lake Park; two sons, Steven (Dawn) Thompson, Moorhead, and Ryan (Samantha Smestead) Thompson, Fargo; two granddaughters, Chloe and Elizabeth Thompson; one brother, Morrie Kittelson, Moorhead; three sisters, Marge (Don) Hofsommer, Fargo, ND, Karen (Leon) Sells, and Sandy (Ed) Gunderson, both Park Rapids, MN; and many nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.
Audrey was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Tony; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Tilliam and Lena Thompson; and two brothers-in-law, Gary and Donald.
A memorial service for Audrey will be Thursday, August 30, 2012, at 2 PM, in Lake Park Lutheran Church, Lake Park.
Inurnment will be in Lake Park Lutheran Cemetery, Lake Park.
