Audrey S. Jensen was born August 12, 1951, in Cooperstown, ND, where she grew up and graduated from high school in 1969. She attended Oak Hills Bible Institute in Bemidji, MN, for a year.
During her second year at Oak Hills, Audrey suffered a brain tumor, which affected the rest of her life. She returned home in Cooperstown to live. She attended the Anne Carlson School in Jamestown, ND, and in 1977, she moved to Fargo, where she had lived since. In Fargo, she received additional education and worked at a number of places, including Red River Youth for Christ.
In 2005, Audrey became a resident of Elim Rehab and Care Center, where she died on Friday, May 4, 2007, at the age of 55. She was preceded in death by her father, Virgil, a sister, Aurel Holm, and a brother, Jerry.
Audrey is survived by her mother, Agnes, Mayville, ND; two brothers, Dennis (Edna) Jensen, Moorhead, and Merlyn Jensen, Cooperstown; four sisters, Virginia Jensen, Portland, OR, Marilyn (Joel) Erickson, Oslo, MN, Joan (Kevin) Heppner, Munich, ND, and Wanda (Mark) Sheppard, Fullerton, ND; and 16 nieces and nephews.
Memorials preferred to the American Cancer Society, Bethel Evangelical Free Church, and Red River Youth for Christ.
Visitation: Monday, 5 PM to 8 PM,
with a prayer service at 7 PM,

Funeral service: Tuesday, May 8, 2007, at 10:30 AM,
Bethel Evangelical Free Church, Fargo.
Burial: Tuesday at 3 PM in Cooperstown, ND.
