Audrey Stalboerger

Audrey F. Stalboerger, 94, of Moorhead, MN, formerly of Dilworth, MN, died Wednesday, September 4, 2019, in Eventide on Eighth, Moorhead, where she had been a resident since 2017.
Audrey Frances Kaiser, the daughter of Leo and Anna (Liebel) Kaiser, was born April 8, 1925, in Gary, MN. She grew up in Mahnomen, MN, where she received her education. She was married in Mahnomen to Herbert J. Stalboerger, on October 30, 1945.
Following their marriage, Audrey and Herbert lived in Mahnomen and in several other communities, while Herbert did road construction. In 1954, they moved to Dilworth, where they raised their family. Audrey worked at several places including as a waitress at Sunset Lanes, Moorhead, and as a salesclerk for Moorhead Drug Company, from which she retired when she was in her 70s.
Audrey was a regular volunteer for Meals on Wheels for many years. She was faithful to her church, a member of Christian Mothers, did handwork and loved to garden. Her husband, Herbert, died on December 8, 1988. In her last few years, she lived in Eventide Fairmont and later in Eventide on Eighth.
Audrey is survived by her four children, Michael (Paulette) Stalboerger, Dilworth, Maurice (Amy) Stalboerger, Georgetown, MN, Marcia Joslyn, Mounds View, MN, and Marcus Stalboerger, Moorhead; a sister, JoAnn Loher, Appleton, MN; 10 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Herbert, she was preceded in death by her parents and seven siblings.
Visitation for Audrey will be Sunday, September 8, 2019, from 4 PM until 6 PM, with a wake service at 6 PM, in Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead. Her mass of christian burial will be Monday, September 9, 2019, at 11 AM, in St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, Dilworth. She will be buried in St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery, Moorhead.
