Axel Julian Larson was born May 31, 1924, to Pete Larson and Christine Tollefson in Fargo, ND, where he grew up. As an adult Axel moved several times between Fargo and Moorhead. In 1952, Axel married LaVern Slupe in Moorhead where they made their home. Axel worked as a truck driver for Harvey Moreau Co. and for Fargo Transfer.
Axel is survived by his wife, LaVern, Moorhead; cousins, Karen Hoylo, New Prague, MN, Evelyn (Art) Hagen, McLeod, ND, and Beverly (Jerry) Ankerfelt, Waite Park, MN. He was preceded in death by his mother and a sister, Ruth Sedora Tollefson.
Funeral Service: Wednesday, December 15, 2004, 10 AM with visitation one hour prior to the service, Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead
Burial: Grace Lutheran Cemetery, Wyndmere, ND
