Barbara K. Ferrari

Barbara K. (Frovarp) Ferrari was born January 11, 1961, to Curtis E. Frovarp and Beatrice A. (Nilles) Frovarp. Barb, 62, was called home to be with her Heavenly Father on January 10, 2024, one day before her 63rd birthday.

She graduated from Moorhead High School in 1979 and attended Moorhead Tech for two years. She was united in marriage to Mike Ferrari on July 7, 1983. They enjoyed the blessing of their two children, Chris and David. She resided in Glyndon, Minnesota, where she lived for 14 years.

Barb joined the US Navy in 1981. After her discharge, she worked for the military in California until 1987, when they moved to Fargo, North Dakota. She got a job at the VA and retired in 2017.

She was a member of Saint Elizabeth Catholic Church in Dilworth, Minnesota.

Barb is survived by her sons, Christopher (Margaret), and David (Sara); grandchildren, Nevada, Ariah, Evelyn, and Arrow; sisters, Cathy (Keith) Faller, Diana (Brian) Ouellette, Colleen Carlson, and Sheila (David) Baquera;  brother, Calmer (Julie) Frovarp; and numerous nieces and nephews, all of the Fargo-Moorhead area.  She is also survived by many friends and relatives that are near and dear to her.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father.

Barb loved her family, friends, gardening, fishing, fixing puzzles, and spending time with her grandchildren who always had a special place in her heart.

A Celebration of Life service for Barb will be Thursday, February 1, 2024, at 3 PM, in Korsmo Funeral and Cremation Service, Moorhead, MN.

Burial, with full military honors, will take place in the spring at Fargo National Cemetery, Harwood, ND.
