Barbara Green

Barbara Ann Milligan was born on March 23, 1951, in Moorhead, MN, to John and Pearl Milligan. Barb passed away on August 21, 2015, peacefully at home, under the care of Hospice of the Red River Valley. She was surrounded by family and friends.

Barb is survived by her husband of 40 years, Richard, and her special companion, 'Myrtle." She is also survived by four brothers and three sisters, Lloyd (Ann) Manley, Moorhead, Ronald Milligan, Perley, MN, Jack (Linda) Milligan, St. Paul, MN, Peggy (Gary) Hopkins, Frazee, MN, Nicki Watson, Moorhead, and John (Kylene) Milligan, West Fargo, ND; and many special nephews and nieces.

Barb was preceded in death by her parents, John and Pearl Milligan; sister, Shirley Jean Manley; youngest brother, Jim Milligan; sister-in-law, Gloria Milligan; nephews, Matthew (Olson) Milligan and Zachary Bristlin; and special companion, Willow, in 2007.
Barb was employed by Catholic Family Charities from 1992 to 1996 and 1999 to 2010, until retiring due to health issues.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2015, at 11:00 AM.in Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead,

Memorials preferred to Hospice of the Red River Valley and The Alzheimer's Association, in Barb's name.
