Beatrice "Pat" Erickson

January 14, 1936 — January 8, 2006

Beatrice "Pat" J. Jacob was born January 14, 1936, in Ellisville, MO, to Theodore and Tracy (Buth) Jacob. The family moved to the Downer-Glyndon, MN, area when she was very young. As a young woman, Pat worked for Armour's and Prudential, both in Fargo.
Pat was united in marriage to Donald Eugene Erickson, on February 20, 1959, in Fargo, where they made their home. Pat worked as a cook for many years at Grace Lutheran School in Fargo.
Pat was not afraid of hard work. She did daycare out of her home for neighborhood families and ran a small ironing business out of her home. Some of her fondest memories are with her daycare children and ironing customers.
Pat was a loving mom, grandma, sister, aunt and friend to many. She enjoyed Wednesday bingo with her girlfriends, cooking large meals for family and friends and an occasional trip to the casino, but most fondly spending time with her grandsons.
Donald preceded Pat in death on March 4, 2005. Pat died Sunday, January 8, 2006, in MeritCare Hospital, Fargo, at sixty-nine years of age.
Pat is lovingly survived by her two children, Roxann Larson and her husband, Curtis, Moorhead, and Rodney of Fargo; two grandsons, Riley and Tanner Larson; and a sister, Bernice Whaley and her husband, Vernon, Moorhead. In addition to her husband and par
Visitation for Pat will be Wednesday, January 11, 2006, from 4 - 7 PM, in Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead. Her funeral will be Thursday, January 12, 2006, at 10:30 AM, in Grace Lutheran Church, Fargo. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Fargo
