Bernice Berg

Bernice L. Berg, 90, Moorhead, MN, formerly of West Fargo, ND, died on Tuesday, September 5, 2017, in Eventide on Eighth, Moorhead.

Bernice Luverne Sather, the daughter of Burton and Florence (Aspegren) Sather, was born in Dale, MN, on April 1, 1927. She grew up in Ulen, MN, where she received her education.

On August 31, 1947, Bernice was married to Ervin O. Berg, in Hawley, MN. They lived in Hawley, Fargo, ND, and in Moorhead. In 1992, they moved to Billings, MT. Her husband, Ervin, died in 1995. Following his death, Bernice returned to West Fargo, ND. In 2009, she became a resident of Eventide on Eighth, in Moorhead.

Bernice loved being a grandmother. She and Ervin loved to travel. She enjoyed movies with her family, especially scary movies. She will be remembered as a great cook, known for her creamed chicken and mashed potatoes.

\Bernice is survived by two daughters, Elaine (Daniel) Burtell, Billings, MT, and Eunice (Roy) White, Georgetown, TX; 12 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren. Bernice was preceded in death by her husband; parents; a son, Ervin; a granddaughter; four brothers; and a sister.

A Visitation for Bernice will be Monday from 5 PM to 7 PM in Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead.

Her Funeral Service will be Tuesday, September 12, 2017, at 2 PM, in Bottolfson Chapel, Eventide on Eighth, Moorhead.

Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery, Fargo, ND.
