Bertha Redmer, 84, died Wednesday, November 9, 2011, in her home in Serenity Assisted Living in Dilworth, MN. She had been a resident at Serenity since October of 2010.
Bertha Baker, the daughter of George and Bertha (dePermentier) Baker, was born September 30, 1927 in Ardsley, Pennsylvania. She grew up, received her education and was married to Clarence Redmer, all in Pennsylvania. She worked in the school cafeteria for the Upper Dublin School District. After her husband died in 1985, she continued to live in the Philadelphia area.
In July of 2010, Bertha moved to West Fargo, ND.
Bertha is survived by two sons, Dale (Laquita) Redmer, West Fargo, ND and Earl (Bonnie) Redmer, Roslyn, PA; three grandchildren, Corrie (Shane) Haack, Cody Redmer and Ryan Redmer; and a brother, George Baker Jr.
All services and interment will be held in the Philadelphia area.
