Beulah C. Olson

Beulah Clarice Nelson was born November 11, 1926, in Newfolden, MN, to Charles and Amelia (Linstad) Nelson.  Beulah was raised in the Newfolden area and attended rural schools.

She married Gordon Olson on December 11, 1947, at Newfolden, and they lived and farmed for a time in that area. 

The family moved to Grand Forks, ND, in 1950, where Beulah worked for Charlies Bakery.  They moved to East Grand Forks, ND, in 1960, where they lived for many years.  Eventually, Beulah moved to Fargo, ND, where she made her home.

Beulah’s interests were gardening, flowers, baking, and she was a good cook!  She was a hard worker!  She liked to paint, stain and varnish as well as can fruits and vegetables, make jelly and she loved making cinnamon rolls!!  She loved being outside and working with her flowers.  They made her happy and she definitely had a green thumb.

Beulah loved watching Hallmark movies and old westerns and enjoyed listening to polka and waltz music!! Dancing was something she used to really enjoy too!  Day Care kids were so special to her! She did day care for 16 years before she retired. In her past, she also worked at the Bowler and at Days Inn in Fargo.

Beulah died Friday, June 2, 2023, in her Fargo home, at ninety-six years of age.

She is survived by her daughter, Maurice (Dennis) Adair, Jamestown, ND; son, Gary (Jan) Olson, Little Falls, MN; four grandchildren, Steven Adair, Pam (Kevin) Eberle, Stacy Olson and Jason Olson; seven great-grandchildren, Dacia, Conner, Derek, Austin, Abby, Ashley and Gavin; and two great-great-grandchildren, Cash and Rayden.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Jackie Olson Benitez, in 2008; and siblings, Marie, Edwin, Ivadell, Minnie, Lorraine, and Robert.

Visitation for Beulah will be from 12 PM to 1 PM, with a funeral at 1 PM, Thursday, June 8, 2023, in Korsmo Funeral and Cremation Service.  Burial will take place at a later time in Oak Grove Cemetery, Newfolden.
