Beverly Ann Ness

Beverly Ann Peterson was born May 1, 1932, in Fargo, ND, to Raymond and Ethel (Gravalin) Peterson. She was raised in Moorhead, MN, where she graduated from high school. She attended Moorhead State Teachers College.

Beverly worked at a number of jobs in the Fargo/Moorhead area. She married Gerald Ness on March 1, 1972, in South Dakota, and they made their home in Moorhead. Gerald died July 3, 2002, and Beverly continued to make her home in Moorhead.

Beverly died Wednesday, September 13, 2017, in Essentia Health, Fargo, at eighty-five years of age.

She is survived by her son, Ron Wainscott, San Francisco, CA; step-son, Mark (Catherine) Ness, Chicago, IL; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two brothers, Dale (Marion) Peterson, Fargo, and Gary (Mary) Peterson, Otisville, MI; sister, Wendy (Randy) Preston, Rochester, MN; and her faithful friend and companion, Gizmo.

In addition to her husband, Beverly was preceded in death by a son, James; and a sister, Patricia.

Visitation will begin at 10 AM, with a funeral at 11 AM, Wednesday, September 20, 2017, in Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead.

Burial will take place in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery, Moorhead.
