Blaine Pederson

Blaine A. Pederson, 68, Fargo, ND, formerly of Park River, ND, died Sunday, February 5, 2023, in Bethany on University, Fargo. 

Blaine Arnold Pederson was born on March 11, 1954, to Ralph and Lorraine (MacDonald) Pederson, in Park River. Blaine went to school in Park River and graduated in 1972. He also earned the Eagle Scout Award.  After high school Blaine joined the United States Navy. In the Navy he was on an F4 squadron aboard the USS Ranger Aircraft Carrier. He worked on the flight deck and served in the Philippines. Blaine was enlisted in the Navy for four years. When he came back home, he went back to school for a bachelor’s degree in business from MSUM, Moorhead, MN.

Blaine lived and worked in Phoenix, AZ, for eight years, then he moved back to Park River. In Park River he worked as a telemarketer for a few years and got to know his co-workers well. Many of them became good friends of his.

Blaine is survived by his sister, Jill (Greg) Schuer; brother, Keith (Janet) Pederson; nieces Heather Schuer, and Amanda Molitor; nephews, Lance Schuer and Nicholas Pederson; great-nieces and nephew, Hadley Schuer, Audrey Molitor, and Hudson Schuer. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Lorraine.

Burial will be in Park River Memorial Park, Park River.

Memorials are preferred to the Veteran’s Association of your choice, or ASPCA, since Blaine loved animals.
