Blanche M. Stich, 90, Moorhead, MN, died Friday, February 20, 2004, in her home.
Blanche Marie Landreville was born May 9, 1913, to Tom and Regina (Proulx) Landreville, in Argyle, MN, where she was raised and attended school.
Blanche was united in marriage to Clarence Peter Stich, October 3, 1933, in Stephen, MN. They farmed in the Stephen area until moving to rural Lake Park, MN, in 1950, where they also farmed. In 1957, they moved to Moorhead. Blanche worked as a nurse's aide at St. Ansgar Hospital, Moorhead, for many years.
Clarence died February 25, 1989, and Blanche continued to make her home in Moorhead.
Blanche is survived by her five sons, Clarence Jr. (Ophelia), Pueblo, CO, Gordon (Mavis), Audubon, MN, Benny (Faye), Stanwood, WA, Elfie (Jeanie), Surprise, AZ, and Glenn, Minneapolis, MN; twenty-two grandchildren; fifty-four great-grandchildren; and fifteen great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, Blanche was preceded in death by a son, Larry, in 1969.
