Bonnie Lou Larson was born January 23, 1925, in Bemidji, MN, to Carl and Cora Larson. She was raised in Bemidji where she graduated from high school in 1943. She attended telegraph training and worked in offices in Crookston, MN, Thief River Falls, MN, and Vermillion, SD.
Bonnie married Raymond Guillemette on May 2, 1957, in Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Moorhead, MN. Together, they owned and operated Cordell Motors, a car dealership in Moorhead. They sold their business and retired in 1984. They enjoyed traveling in their motorhome and fishing in Minnesota and Canada. They had a lake home on Big Floyd and a condominium in Naples, FL.
Bonnie was a wonderful cook and hostess and loved to entertain. She was an active and longtime member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church.
Ray passed away on January 21, 1998, and she continued to make her home in Moorhead. In 2010, Bonnie entered Bethany on University, Fargo, ND, where she died Monday, November 9, 2015, at ninety years of age.
She is survived by her cousins, Gail and Dennis Romano, Edna "Boots" and Bob Kruchoski, all of Hibbing, MN, and Gary Gaylord, Minneapolis, MN. Also surviving are Kristine Romano, Hibbing, and Patrick (Lisa) Romano, North Branch, MN, Diane Abrams, San Antonio, TX, Tim, Jay and Robert Guillemette, all of Red Lake Falls, MN, and Vicki Snyder, Plymouth, MN.
In addition to her husband, Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents.
Memorials may be directed to Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Bethany on University, or Homeward Animal Shelter, Fargo.
Visitation for Bonnie will begin at 9:30 AM, followed by her funeral at 10:30 AM, Saturday, November 14, 2015, in Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead. Entombment will be in Riverside Cemetery, Moorhead.
