Bonnie McEvers, 70, died Thursday, October 25, 2007, at Sunnyside Care Center, rural Lake Park, MN.
Bonnie Mae McEvers, the daughter of Stephen and Myrtle (Peterson) McEvers, was born in Fargo, ND, on June 2, 1937. She grew up and received her education in the Baker-Sabin, MN, area and graduated from high school in Barnesville, MN, in 1955. As a young lady, she lived and worked in Fargo, and in Barnesville.
In 1972 she moved to Moorhead, MN, where she worked in a number of positions, including in the Psychology Department of Moorhead State University. After retirement, she continued to live in Moorhead until recently, when she became a resident of Sunnyside Care Center.
Bonnie is survived by a brother, Wayne (Grace) McEvers, Barnesville; three sisters, Joyce Burns, Moorhead, Janet Peterson and Beverly Braton, both Barnesville; and a number of nephews and nieces. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Lyle, James, and Curtis McEvers.
Visitation: Sunday, October 28, 2007, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, in Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead.
Funeral Service: Monday, October 29, 2007, at 2:00 PM, in Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead.
Burial: Elmwood Cemetery, Sabin, MN.
