Bradley A. Nelsen was born June 4, 1962, at Ft. Belvoir, VA, to Leonard M. and Frances E. (McLeod) Nelsen.
He attended Hopkins Public School, Hopkins, MN, graduating in 1980. Bradley entered the US Army and served for two years (1981 - 1983) with the 82nd Airborne Division.
Bradley started his career in computers working at SunGard Financial and SuperValu in the Twin Cities area. Bradley met Dawn Beck while working in the Twin Cities area and they were married on September 4, 1993. They moved to Moorhead, MN, in 1997, to raise their children, Rebekah and Madeline.
Bradley was an avid Minnesota Twins and Vikings fan and enjoyed watching all sports. He was an outdoorsman and loved to fish and camp. Bradley enjoyed remote control cars and planes. He was very proud of his children and looked forward to watching them grow up.
Bradley died on Wednesday, November 16, 2011, at Sanford Medical Center, Fargo, ND, at the age of forty-nine.
He is survived by his former wife, Dawn; his children, Rebekah Rose and Madeline Frances; three brothers, Lenn (Mary), Larry (Jan), and Terron; two sisters, Sandra (Kieran) and Sharon (Ron); and his aunt, Ruth McLeod Dvorak. He was preceded in death by
Gathering of Friends, Friday, November 25, 2011, from 1 - 3 PM with Prayers at 2:45 PM. Burial at Elmwood Cemetery, Sabin.
