Bret Allen Mudgett was born on February 23, 1956, in Grand Rapids, MN, to Albert and Gladys (Lindvall) Mudgett. The family moved to Moorhead in 1957. Bret attended Moorhead High School, MSU Campus School, and graduated from MSUM in Industrial Technology.
He was accomplished in mechanics, electrical systems, die casting, fabrication, welding, jig setting, and drafting. He was intrigued by metals as investments, raw materials, and their ability to be reused and recycled.
He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, canoeing, and motorcycles.
Bret passed from this life on Tuesday, November 26, 2013, in Fargo, ND, at the age of 57.
Bret is survived by his father, Albert, of Northport, FL; and his brother, Kent, of Felton, MN. He was preceded in death by his mother, Gladys, a little more than a year ago.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, December 7, 2013, at 7:00PM in Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead.
