Brett A. Bodway, 47, Fargo, ND, died Wednesday, March 17, 2010, in Innovis Health, Fargo.
Brett Allen Bodway was born March 10, 1963, in Minneapolis, MN, to Phillip and Mary (Johnson) Bodway. He grew up in McGregor, MN, where he graduated from high school.
Upon graduation, Brett moved to Brainerd, MN, where he attended college. He eventually transferred to Bemidji, MN, where he graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Communications. Brett then moved to Fargo where he began his career as a production director with KVLY.
On July 19, 1997, Brett married Karen Duerre in West Fargo, ND. They made their home in Fargo and he continued to work at KVLY.
As a young man, Brett enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was an avid Twins and Vikings fan, a coin collector, and photographer. Family was very important to Brett, especially his wife and son.
Brett is lovingly survived by his wife, Karen; his son, Grant; his parents, Phillip and Mary; a sister, Lisa (Tony) Neururer; a brother, Bart (Sheila) Bodway; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation: Saturday from 6 - 8 PM in Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead.
Funeral: Sunday, March 21, 2010 at 2 PM in Lutheran Church of the Cross, West Fargo.
Burial: Riverside Cemetery, Fargo.
