Carey B. Orjansen, age 37, Fitchburg, WI, passed away on Sunday, June 3, 2007, at the HospiceCare Center in Fitchburg.
He was born on July 17, 1969, at Camp Pendleton
Naval Hospital in California, the son of Gail and Brent Orjansen and was raised in Moorhead, Minnesota. In 1993, Carey earned a B. S. in International Business from Minnesota State University, Moorhead. He was united in marriage to Anne Renee Farkonas on July 25, 1998, in Glenview, Illinois. He worked as a sales representative for Verizon Wireless.
Carey was very proud of his Norwegian heritage and was a member of the Sons of Norway. He loved racing, was an avid NASCAR fan, enjoyed sports especially football and waterskiing. He also enjoyed traveling.
Carey is survived by his wife, Anne Renee, Fitchburg; two children, Jakob, age 5 and Hope, age 4; his mother and step-father, Gail and Richard Arends, Moorhead,; a brother, Marc (Sara) Orjansen, St. Joseph, MN; three step-brothers, David (Shari) Arends, Matthew (Cory) Arends and Ben Arends; a
aunt, Marie Teigen; a uncle, Harold Orjansen; his in-laws, John and Goldie Ann Farkonas and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father and paternal and maternal grandparents.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the OAK GROVE LUTHERAN SCHOOL, 124 N. Terrace, Fargo, North Dakota at 1:00 PM on Saturday, June 9, 2007. Burial will be in Kirkebo Cemetery, Perley, MN. Family and friends may call on Saturday from 11:30 AM until the time of the service at the Oak Grove Lutheran School.
