Carol Footitt, 67, of Fargo, ND, died on Wednesday, November 1, 2017, in St. Catherine's Living Center in Wahpeton, ND.
Carol Ann Lizotte was born October 3, 1950, the daughter of Louis and Pearl Lizotte, in Moorhead, MN. She was raised in Moorhead and graduated from Moorhead High School in 1968. On November 8, 1968, Carol was united in marriage to Robert "Bob" Footitt at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Moorhead.
They established their home in south Moorhead before settling in Harwood, ND, where she stayed home and raised her two sons. After the boys were done with school, Carol went to work at Nodak for many years. In 2005, she moved to St. Catherine's Living Center in Wahpeton, ND, where she had since resided.
Carol enjoyed socializing, singing, country dancing and bowling.
She is survived by her sons, Bob (Tiffany) Footitt, Jr., Moorhead, and Bill Footitt, Fargo; sister, Arlene Asplin, Moorhead; brother, Roger Lizotte, Fargo; two nieces and three nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and daughter, Lynn Marie Footitt.
A Visitation for Carol will be one hour prior to her funeral service.
Her Funeral Service will be Friday, November 3, 2017, 10:30 AM, in Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead.
Interment will be in St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery, Moorhead.
