Carol J. Peltier, 72, Fargo, ND, died Thursday, February 9, 2012, in Essentia Health, Fargo.
Carol Jane Smith was born January 20, 1940, to William and Alice (Grunewald) Smith, in Devils Lake, ND. When she was a young girl, the family moved to Moorhead, MN, where Carol attended school.
Carol worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant in various nursing homes in the Fargo-Moorhead area. She loved animals, crafts and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her five children, Randi (Nancy Erdmann) Kolrud, Daniel (Nanci) Neubauer, Candace (Randy) Ulmer, Kathryn (Kevin) Vosburg, and Scott (Kathy) Wolsky; fifteen grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; five siblings, Orrie (Pat) Smith, Henry (MaryLou) Smith, James (Janice) Smith, Larry (Ursula) Smith, and Kenneth (June) Smith; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and an infant daughter.
