Carol Marie Lynn, 73, died Sunday, June 2, 2013, at her home in Moorhead, MN, after a brief battle with cancer.
Carol was born January 7, 1940, to Roy and Lillian Lee. She grew up in Fargo, ND, and graduated from Fargo Central High in 1957. On June 3, 1960, she married her sweetheart, Thomas A. Lynn. They raised their children, John and Ann, in Fargo. In 1974, they moved to West Fargo, ND. They returned to Fargo in 1981, and in 2008, they moved to Moorhead.
Carol was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She never missed a family gathering or celebration and loved a good potluck. Her positive attitude and infectious laugh touched the lives of many.
Carol was constantly on the go and planning the next social event. Nine years ago she started the Ravishing Red Hats and enjoyed many events, trips and potlucks with all of them.
She also enjoyed her bowling league and quilting group.
Vacations were spent traveling to see her daughter in Colorado and to St. Augustine, Florida with her son and his family. Many of her happiest times were spent at the lake cabin creating a lifetime of memories with family and friends.
Carol is survived by her son, John (Shelly) Lynn, Fargo; daughter, Ann Lynn, Loveland, CO; grandchildren, Tiffany (Matt) Heinzen, Lindsey (Justin) Burkhardt, and Alexis Lynn and great-granddaughter Hadley Heinzen.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Tom; and her parents, Roy and Lillian Lee.
Visitation: Thursday from 6:30 to 7:00 PM with a 7:00 PM, Prayer Service in Korsmo Funeral Chapel in Moorhead.
Memorial Service: Friday, June 7, 2013, at 11:00 AM, in First Lutheran Church, Fargo.
