Carole Ann Wittig was born December 19, 1938, in Jamestown, ND, to Willis and Everyl (Piepkorn) Wittig. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willis & Everyl Wittig; her first husband, Robert Koth; her second husband, Clayton Haugen; and her brother, Jerry Wittig.
