Charles J. Alm, age 82, died September 27, 2012, at ManorCare in Fargo, ND.
Charles John Alm was born July 7, 1930, the son of Frank and Ruth (Nelson) Alm at St Ansgar Hospital, Moorhead, MN. He attended school in Christine, ND, and one year at Wahpeton State School of Science, until his father took ill and he went home to help on the farm.
On November 4, 1948, he married Marie Arntson at Horace Lutheran Church, Horace, ND. They raised two children, Jere Arthur Alm and Heidi Marie Jenson. Heidi has two children, Reed Charles Alm and Lindsey Marie Jenson.
He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers. They attended the Bethel Evangelical Free Church in Fargo for 30 years.
Visitation: Monday, 6 PM until 8 PM, with a prayer service at 7:30 PM, in Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead. Funeral: Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2012, at 1 PM, Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead.
