Charlotte B. Dokken, age 84, of Joliet, Montana, formerly of Moorhead, MN, died Tuesday, June 22, 2004, at her daughter's home in Montana, under the care of hospice.
Charlotte Bernice Mohn was born in Lake Park, MN, on April 14, 1920. She grew up in Northfield, MN, Frederic, WI, and in Lake Park. On Jan. 12, 1942, she was united in marriage to Stanley Dokken, at Lake Park.
Following their marriage, they lived in Lake Park for four years and Fargo, ND, for one year, before making their home in Moorhead, MN. Charlotte worked for American Linen Supply Company in Fargo for many years, and for ten years at Moorhead State University, now Minnesota State University, Moorhead. She retired in about 1983.
Her husband, Stanley, died on June 8, 1989. After his death, Charlotte continued to live in Moorhead, most recently at Sharp View. In May of this year, Charlotte moved to Joliet, Montana, to live with her daughter, Sharon.
Charlotte is survived by a daughter, Sharon (Ted) Baldwin, Joliet, MT; a son, Wayne (Christine) Dokken, Robbinsdale, MN; a sister, Gloria Bakke, Fargo; a brother, Erwin Mohn, Columbia Heights, MN; four grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
