Christopher W. Satterlee

December 16, 1976 — October 10, 2007

Christopher Wesley Satterlee was born Dec. 16, 1976 in Dallas TX, to Ward and Catherine (Koan) Satterlee. Not being destined to be a southern lad, Chris's family moved north to the Fargo-Moorhead area where Chris spent most of his life growing and maturing.
While living here, Chris met a young lady named Joanne Tuliao. It was a love match and Chris flew to the Philippines to claim her hand and heart. They were married six years ago and God blessed them with two wonderful children: Marcus, 4 and Isabelle, 19 months.

Chris, though gentle and patient, was a man of tenacious commitment when it came to the important and essential issues of life. Just picture it; married a short time with a young son calling for attention, working full time and pushing to finish a four year degree in computer science, and then his lifelong enemy cancer returned. The word quit never entered Chris's mind. He finished that four-year degree from the University of Mary just this last year.
Chris had four great loves in his life. He loved his family, he loved computers, he loved education and he loved Christ.
On Oct 10, 2007, around 12 noon, trusting in Christ as his only means of salvation, Chris passed into eternity at thirty years of age. He will be greatly missed by his wife, Joanne and two children, Marcus and Isabelle; parents, Ward and Catherine; brothers, Joshua (Mary), and Jeremiah; maternal grandmother, Myrtle Cherry; and paternal grandfather, Ward Sr.
Visitation for Chris will be Friday, October 12, 2007, from 5 - 7 PM, with a prayer service at 6:30 PM, in Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead.
The funeral will be Saturday, October 13, 2007, at 11 AM, in Salem Evangelical Free Church, Fargo.
Memorials may be directed to the Satterlee benefit account at Gate City Bank, 305 - 8th Street South, Moorhead, MN, 56560.
