Clara H. Hval was born June 4, 1920, in Gardner, ND, to John and Oline (Tollefsrud) Hval. She was raised and received her education in Gardner.
Clara married Allan Westerberg on May 30, 1953, at Gardner, and they lived and farmed in that area. They retired from farming in 1977 and lived in Babbitt and Embarrass, MN, until they moved to Moorhead, MN, in 1992.
Allan preceded Clara in death on May 13, 2003. Clara died Friday, February 29, 2008, in Elim Care Center, Fargo, ND, at eighty-seven years of age.
She is survived by a number of nieces and nephews.
Visitation for Clara will be one hour before the funeral, at the church.
Funeral will be Wednesday, March 5, 2008, at 2 PM, in Nora Lutheran Church of rural Gardner, ND.
Burial will be in the church cemetery.
