Clarice E. Hoime, 94, Moorhead, MN, died Wednesday, August 3, 2005, in Moorhead Healthcare Center, Moorhead.
Clarice Elvida Hoime was born September 18, 1910, in Holy Cross Township, Clay County, MN, to Carl and Mary (Benson) Taasaas. Clarice was raised in the Comstock area where she graduated from high school. In high school, Clarice played on the women's softball team.
Clarice was married to Edwin Hoime in 1929, and they lived and farmed the family land near Comstock. Edwin died in 1982 and Clarice continued to live on the farm. She eventually moved into Moorhead and entered Moorhead HealthCare Center in August of 2003.
Clarice is survived by a son, Carl (Patricia), Moorhead; one grandson, Michael; and two great-grandchildren, Brian and Tiffany.
Memorial Service: Monday, August 8, 2005; 2 PM, in Comstock Lutheran Church, Comstock, MN.
Inurnment: Comstock East Cemetery.
