Cleo W. Johnson, 89, Lake Park, MN, formerly of Moorhead, MN, died Tuesday, March 20, 2007, in Sunnyside Care Center, Lake Park.
Cleo Winifred Johnson was born January 31, 1918, in Brownsville, MN. In 1929 the family moved to New Albin, IA and then to Lansing, IA.
On November 25, 1937, Cleo married Hjalmer Peterson. He died in 1945. On April 26, 1946, Cleo married Irvin Gramlich. Cleo owned and operated Cleo's Curler Beauty Salon in Moorhead from 1961 to 1994.
In 1991, Irvin died and Cleo continued to make her home in Moorhead until becoming a resident of Sunnyside Care Center in 2001.
She is survived by two daughters, Mary (Chris) Gramlich-Staszko, Moorhead, and Rose Gramlich, Phoenix, AZ; a daughter-in-law, Nola Peterson, Lake Park; a sister, Dorothy Strub, Dubuque, IA; and one grandson.
Memorial Service: Tuesday, April 3, 2007, at 11 AM,
Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead.
Inurnment: Moorhead Memorial Gardens, Moorhead.
