Clifford John Cook, 93, Moorhead, MN, died Tuesday, August 31, 2004, at MeritCare Hospital, Fargo, ND. He was a resident of Moorhead Health Care Center, Moorhead, for just under two years.
Clifford John Cook, son of Walter and Jane (Lamb) Cook, was born March 11, 1911, in Baker, MN. On October 1, 1931. Clifford was united in marriage to Lucille Germain, in Moorhead. Following their marriage, they made their home on the farm in rural Baker. They moved to Moorhead in 1967. Cliff was a farmer in his younger years, but later taught himself the plumbing profession. His other interests included fishing and games of all kinds, especially cards. His wife Lucille died in 1994.
Clifford is survived by two sons, Philip (Donna) Cook and Bradley (Delores) Cook, both of Barnesville, MN; six daughters, Carol (Wallace) Mulcahy, Barnesville, Marilyn (Wade) Gorman, Moorhead, Audrey (Gerhardt) Anderson, Moorhead, Kay Derheim, Minneapolis, MN, Barbara (Alvin) Amundson, Moorhead and Diane (Raymond) Kline, Moorhead; one brother, George Cook, Moorhead; 37 grandchildren, 72 great - grandchildren, and 23 great-great grandchildren. In addition to his wife, Lucille, Clifford was preceded in death by a son, Clifford Del; three grandchildren; four great - grandchildren, three brothers and six sisters.
