Clifford H. Kuehl, 87, Moorhead, MN, died Wednesday, December 8, 2010, in Sanford Health Palliative Care Unit, Fargo, ND.
Clifford Harold Kuehl was born November 4, 1923, to Ferdinand and Lela (Tabatt) Kuehl on the family farmstead near Sabin, MN. Cliff was drafted into the Army and upon his honorable discharge, he returned to Sabin where he farmed. He then worked for the Behling Potato Company, Moorhead.
On June 14, 1952, Cliff married Constance "Connie" Johnson in Fargo and they made their home in Moorhead. Cliff did lawn and carpentry work until 1955, when he began working for Northwest Beverage. He worked as a warehouse foreman for them until his retirement in 1989.
Cliff enjoyed watching the Minnesota Twins, fishing at the lake, serving as an usher at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church and tending to his large vegetable garden. Cliff took great pride in his garden and would give the vegetables away to friends, family, and the passing stranger. Above all, Cliff loved his family and spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Connie; five children, Steven Kuehl, Fargo, Bruce Kuehl, Moorhead, Cheri Kuehl, Moorhead, Pam Kuehl, Fargo, and Charlotte (Todd) Underdahl, Fargo; five grandchildren, Nathaniel, Jesse, Andy, Willy, and Ellie; siblings, Evelyn
